The Makita BL4025 is a 40V max XGT 2.5Ah lithium-ion battery for Makita’s XGT cordless platform. It uses an impact-resistant outer case and a shock-absorbing inner liner to protect the cells in demanding conditions, plus rigid, impact-resistant rails that lock the battery securely to the tool during high-load work.
XGT batteries feature smart digital communication that manages performance and, together with XGT chargers (sold separately), monitors and protects against overload, over-discharge and overheating. The digital link is designed to sustain power output under heavy loads for longer runtime.
